Alex Monroe jewelry is lovingly handcrafted in London. It is feminine, delicate and quirky, but above all consistently wearable. Inspired by nature and nostalgia, every piece has a tale to tell.
Alex grew up in the countryside, in a big old house surrounded by the nature of the Suffolk wilds. He lived a life of adventure in rivers and forests, roaming freely in nature’s playground. Alex found himself enamored with every childhood outdoor adventure, finding adult inspiration in surrounding flora and fauna that surrounded him in childhood. A graduate of the Sir John Cass School of Art in London, Alex wanted to craft “jewelry to last a lifetime.”
Interesting quirk: each Alex Monroe design is available in nickel-free sterling silver or 18K gold, but never both. Every motif he creates has designs in both metals.
Discovered by Babs and Chantell at a small, wonderfully-curated designer show in NYC, this line has become a perennial favorite, in rather short shrift, with customers and staff alike.
