Working with handmade tools of his own invention under a microscope, Alex Sepkus carves lines that wrap, twist, dot, and circle around gems — pieces with the soul of ancient treasure and a composition that is dizzyingly modern.
Several days of hand-carving go into a single square inch of surface — the Sepkus standard, upheld by his atelier.
