Pre-Appraisal Assessment | up to 12 pieces

A Pre-Appraisal Assessment is required in order for us to appraise your jewelry, whether for insurance purposes, estate purposes, or fair market evaluations.

During the Pre-Appraisal Assessment, we provide you with the appraisal fee for each piece, which depends upon the attributes of the piece and the type of appraisal you need. Your pieces will not be appraised during this assessment.

At your option, you may leave your pieces with us to be cleaned and appraised after the Pre-Appraisal Assessment. Optionally, you can drop the pieces off at a later date to be appraised, based on the fees we calculated, which we keep on file for six months.

• 1 to 3 pieces are assessed at no charge.
• 4+ pieces requires a Professional Jewelry Box Review--you may book that below or on the Jewelry Box Review page, which describes the service in depth. The $150 fee is non-refundable, but applicable to your appraisal fees if you leave your pieces with us the same day.
• If you are seeking approval for a While-You-Watch appraisal appointment--choose by the number of pieces.

If you've already had your items assessed by us, but did not leave them with us for appraisal at that time, please schedule your Appraisal Drop-Off based on the total number of pieces requiring appraisal that you will be dropping off for appraisal. 

If you are seeking While-You-Watch appraisal services, we will send you a booking link for the amount of time determined through our assessment. While-you-Watch services book at $300/hour, with a one-hour minimum.
