The Three of Swords is the third card in the suit of swords, a suit found in traditional tarot decks across Europe. While tarot cards were originally used for card games, the Three of Swords has become one of the most recognized symbols in tarot, often representing heartbreak, grief, and emotional loss. Though its message can be sorrowful, the card also acknowledges the experiences that shape us and the strength found in moving through them.
Designer, Maura Green, pairs mother-of-pearl and abalone to create a wearable version of the classic card, framed in sterling silver. The shifting colors of the shell bring movement and depth to the design, while the familiar symbol serves as a reminder that difficult experiences can shape us in meaningful ways.
Wear it on its own or layer with other talismans to build a collection. Please note, each pendant is hand-carved from natural materials, so no two are ever exactly the same.
