Suspended from an elongated oval link gold chain, a geometric pendant adorned with tiny accent diamonds frames a declassé hexagonal ruby that features a star shaped pattern known as a trapiche. The unique plum color of the semi-opaque ruby evokes a feeling of royalty within the golden bezel, that is accented by hand with milgrain detail --a nod to the Art Deco era.

Fun Fact: The origin of the word "trapiche" comes from the Spanish word for cogwheel... which was used to crush sugar cane!
