Kimi Kaplowitz is the creative force behind Theeth Jewelry, a boutique based in Portland, Oregon. With a passion for craftsmanship instilled by her artist parents and nurtured through her upbringing in Hopewell, NJ, Kimi oversees every aspect of the jewelry-making process from her studio. Drawing inspiration from nature and her background in metalsmithing and sculpture, which she honed at Moore College of Art and Design, she brings meticulous attention to detail to each piece.

At Theeth Jewelry, sustainability is paramount. Kimi personally handles all mold making, wax working, and fabrication processes, ensuring that each item is crafted with care. Using recycled sterling silver or gold, she sets hand-selected natural stones to create distinctive pieces that resonate with elegance and eco-consciousness.

Kimi's journey into jewelry design began during her tenure in Portland's stop motion animation industry, where she not only mastered puppet fabrication but also discovered her affinity for mold making. Intrigued by the intricate molds she crafted from objects gathered during her travels, she ventured into creating her own jewelry line, founding Theeth Jewelry in January 2014.

Continuing to evolve creatively, Kimi launched the Kimi Kaplowitz Fine Jewelry line in 2022, further expanding her artistic horizons while staying true to her commitment to quality craftsmanship and sustainable practices.
